Federal Supply Group 17, Aircraft Launching, Landing, and Ground Handling, encompasses all equipment related to the launching, landing, and ground handling of aircraft vehicles. In this FSG, aircraft are defined as outlined by FSG 15 (Aircraft and Airframe Structural Components). Note that while FSG 17 includes equipment for launching, landing, and handling aircraft, it does not include equipment for launching missiles, nor does it include trucks, trailers, and the corresponding components not specifically designed for use in or around airfields.
